What is included: A 24 marker legally admissible grandparent DNA test, professional DNA collection and completion of chain of custody, overnight sending of the collection samples to the lab, all lab processing fees, and results from our AABB accredited testing laboratory.
Who is included: One alleged grandparent, and one possible grandchild. The mother of the child’s DNA sample is also included at no additional charge if you wish to include her at the time of the order. Additional children or the other grandparent may be added at an additional cost as shown on the order form. Professional collection fees for two people testing are included. We encourage you to add the mother’s DNA sample, if possible, to eliminate her DNA from the child’s DNA for the strongest result.,
How we set the DNA appointment: We will schedule your appointment, based on your stated availability and zip code, at the closest approved and trained DNA collector. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. We will do our best to match your exact time and date your request for your appointment, but may need to make a small adjustment due to availability of the collection site. We will notify you be email when your appointment time is and the location. Please allow 24 hours (during regular business days) from the date your order in placed to finalize the scheduling of your DNA collection appointment.
If you need to schedule a DNA collection at multiple locations: If you indicate on the order form that there is a need for separate DNA collections for those involved, we will do our best to accommodate your request. New York residents will need to have a court order, an attorney request, or a physician’s request to provide legal DNA testing services.
When your results will be ready: 1-2 business days after the lab receives all of the DNA samples. The results will be notarized and are ready to be submitted as evidence, if necessary.
Payment Options: We offer several ways to pay when you order a sibling DNA test. You can choose to pay with a credit, debit, or prepaid card with a VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express logo. You may also pay through PayPal, and if you do not already have a PayPal account, you can set one up easily. We also financing options through both Affirm and Sezzle. Sezzle does not perform a credit check and upon acceptance you pay 25% down and 25% every two weeks over a 6 week period. Affirm offers both a Pay In 4 Payment plan, as well as offering up to a 12 month payment plan. Both Sezzle and Affirm are independent companies that we partner with, however the decision to extend financing is their decision alone.
